These animals aren’t movie stars.

But that doesn’t mean the camera doesn’t love them. All our wilderness areas allow photography and videoing so you can capture
everything from bald eagles and gopher tortoises to gators and manatees. More Nature Facts

Geneva

Explore Geneva’s vast wilderness.

The village of Geneva is located in northeastern Seminole County and is known for its 150-year-old rural heritage and abundance of preserved natural lands, parks and trails. Visit the Ed Yarborough Nature Center for displays of native flora, fauna and butterflies; the Lake Proctor Wilderness Area for more than six miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails; or the Little Big Econ State Forest, a favorite of outdoor enthusiasts for mountain bike riding, fishing, canoeing, nature studies and more. The village has its own Museum of Geneva History, Rural Heritage Center, Fourth of July Parade & Festival and monthly “Geneva Jams” music festival.
