Baseball in Seminole CountyWhether you’re looking for a place to practice or considering to host a major tournament, Seminole County is batting 1.000 with numerous field offerings.

Give your players the inspiration to become the next Babe Ruth or Jackie Robinson at the recently renovated Sanford Memorial Stadium. Built in 1951, this historic gem was once home to the New York Giants and the Boston Braves. The stadium has seen major renovations in the past few years, but it still provides the old classic feel as the infield has clay cutouts around the base paths. The stadium is now home to the Sanford River Rats, which is a high school and college prospect team that is operated by the Florida Collegiate Summer League, one of the top summer league destinations in the country. The stadium hosts several collegiate and high school teams who travel all across the country to train and compete in tournaments throughout the year.
“Teams love to come and play in Seminole County because of our state-of-the-art facilities, the great southern hospitality and Sanford’s downtown district full of restaurants and shops.”
